The Sun Lakes Republican Club will feature “ObamaCare: A Local Surgeon Speaks Out” at its monthly meeting Tuesday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Arizona Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 N. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. The public is invited!

Dr. Ralph Heap is an orthopedic surgeon with his own private practice in Mesa. He will share the effect that ObamaCare has had on the private practice of medicine and his patients. He will also explain how ObamaCare impacts the way insurance companies authorize medical procedures and process payments for health care costs. He will discuss how ObamaCare impacts seniors on Medicare and how the Medicaid expansion in Arizona impacts all Arizonans. Be sure to mark your calendar now and plan to be with us for this informative program!

Dr. Heap knew at a young age that he wanted to be a doctor. After years of hard work and dedication, he graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University and the University of Arizona Medical School. In addition to providing medical care to thousands of Arizonans, Ralph has devoted a substantial portion of his medical career to providing free medical care to those less fortunate all across the world.

A proud husband, father, and grandfather, Ralph has been married to Denise for nearly 40 years. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren. He spends his spare time volunteering for his church and playing banjo in a bluegrass band. Dr. Heap has declared his candidacy for state senate in Mesa, District 25.

Arizona State Senator Steve Yarbrough will answer your questions and will provide us with a brief recap of the legislative session. Please plan to join us for this very important meeting…our last program of the season. Sun Lakes Republican Club will not be meeting in July and August. We will resume our monthly programs in September.
