Our Rotarian of the Month for May was awarded to Mary Louise Lansbarkis. Mary Louise hails from New Providence, Iowa and is a graduate of Penn College [now William Penn University]. She spent her career in real estate sales and as an instructor-broker and speaker. She is the mother of four children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mary Louise joined our Sun Lakes Rotary Club in September of 2012. She straightaway put her energy and leadership skills to work supporting our many projects. Wherever work needed to be done, Mary Louise was there to give help with a smiling face and positive attitude. She particularly distinguished herself as our social chair this past year organizing great social events which brought our members and their loved ones together to not only enjoy each other in a relaxed fun environment, but also helped build up camaraderie bringing new friends into our lives at these well attended events. As a result, Mary Louise has been nominated not only Rotarian of the Month but will be our president in 2015. Congratulations for a well earned leadership role in our club.
