Rotarian of the month

Norm Noble

The Sun Lakes Rotary Club has a new Rotarian of the Month, Bill McCoach. Bill joined the club in February of 2014 and became actively involved immediately. He joined several committees and chaired the club’s effort in developing a strategic plan. With his club involvement, he was selected as the Service Above Self recipient for the 2014-2015 Rotary year. After serving as the club’s vice president and president-elect, he became president for nearly two years over 2015-2017. Bill remains active and chairs the club’s Sun Lakes Splash deliveries, as well as writing the club meeting summaries for the club’s Sun Riser bulletin. He is a multiple Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Bill has been on the Membership, Sergeant-at-Arms, The Rotary Foundation, Foundation 2000, Social, Pancake and Golf fundraiser committees.

Congratulations to Bill for this recognition. By the way, Bill is a retired chief financial officer for a Fortune 500 company. Prior to relocating to Sun Lakes, he was a Rotary Club President in Ohio and a Rotary Assistant District Governor there for three years.
