Van Newille was our last speaker for the summer. He spoke about little getaways in and around Arizona. He knows this state intimately – lots of suggestions for getting away.

We had updated information for summer and fall getaways with Free Spirit Vacations as well. Holiday sailings are filling fast especially the December 20 10-day sailings in the Caribbean on the Royal Princess, where the fabulous Perry the Piano Man has transferred from Celebrity. This is the 50th anniversary for Princess so everyone booking a Princess cruise will receive additional $50 stateroom credit.

Viking: Has September and October space on select sailings with free air; you just pay the taxes. Most are on the Danube River.

Cuba: Dates for Cuba have been finalized; departing from Miami on December 4 for seven nights. Singles can join with a small supplement. $3595 is a great price for the tour; includes most meals, the Cuban Visa, Cuba Health Insurance and includes the charter plane from Miami to Havana and return.
