Savvy Travelers are traveling this summer to get out of the heat. Many are in Germany and Vienna on the Danube River. Lots of folks are visiting my favorite place, Iceland.

A group of folks left Sun Lakes the first week in June for Turkey, the Greek Isles, and Israel where the heat had already turned on in Europe. Crazy weather in the USA caused many return delays from the East Coast, along with delayed luggage. Remember to always share your suitcase with your travel partner in case a bag does not make it to your destination. You each then at least have a few clothes to get by.

The Savvy Travelers group is getting ready for meetings in the fall, starting in October with Oceania Cruises. November will be Princess Cruises. Viking will be here for the January meeting.
