‘Sex Please, We’re Sixty’ Cast Chosen

Kate King-Turner, Mark Wenz, and Ginger Henry laugh at the script reading for Sex Please, We’re Sixty.

Director Jo Birlin announced her choices for the cast of the upcoming comedy, Sex Please, We’re Sixty. The prim and proper B&B owner, Mrs. Stancliffe, will be played by Kathy Miller. Her next-door neighbor, Bud “the Stud” Davis, will be portrayed by SLCT newcomer Mark Wenz. Mario Carranza has been cast as Mrs. Stancliffe’s would-be suitor, Henry Mitchell. Romance writer Victoria Ambrose will be performed by Ginger Henry. Henry Mitchell’s friend Hillary Hudson will feature another SLCT newcomer, Cari Scholes. Rounding out the cast as the lustful Charmaine Beauregard will be Kate King-Turner.

The play will run Nov. 8 through 12 in the San Tan Ballroom in Cottonwood. Tickets will be on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Oct. 12, both online at www.slctinfo.com, and in person in Room A-6 in Cottonwood (10 a.m. to noon). In-person sales will also be on Oct. 26 (Room A-6) and Oct. 13 and 27 in the lobby of Oakwood Country Club (Stone & Barrel) from 10 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $20 each.
