In our classes at Basic Social Dance, memorization is minimized. We focus primarily on the music being played and our connection with our partner. It’s dancing reduced to its simplest format ever.
There are also multiple classes available, including private and semi-private classes. You are welcome to choose the setting that will be the best fit for you to learn and grow as a dancer.
This will be the best decision you make this year! You’ll impress yourself and your friends with your new skills.
Mary Lou Kaye, your instructor, is a two-time national dance champion and has more than 30 years of teaching experience at all levels. Her social dance training method merges her experience as a ballroom instructor with her interest in “street” dancing, so your instruction will be professional and polished but still all-around fun to your favorite music!
Basic Social Dance classes start Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, and Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023.
Classes meet in the Cottonwood Dance Room, and you are free to invite your family and friends. Share the fun!
