Sheriff’s Posse Welcomes New Member

Glenn Osborne

Glenn Osborne

Commander Craig Lloyd, Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse

Please join me in welcoming another new member, Glenn Osborne, to the Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse organization.

Glenn started his career as an engineer working in a nuclear plant in California with the responsibilities of overseeing reactor control systems. Throughout his career, Glenn worked for Xerox and Honeywell, working in computer systems and software. After gaining valuable corporate experience, he successfully opened up and ran his own small business. In retirement, Glenn has volunteered and obtained notable experience with the Riverside County Red Cross and State Disaster Corps, the Office of Emergency Service, and served as an emergency coordinator in the Office of Emergency Management in California.

After moving to Sun Lakes, Glenn became involved in the Sun Lakes Fire Corp Crisis Response Unit, the Chandler Ham Radio Club, and the Arizona Emergency Network. When speaking with Glenn, he said, “I am impressed with the level of training provided by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the professionalism exhibited by the Sun Lakes Posse organization, and their training programs. This is a good place to volunteer!”

Your Sun Lakes Posse is committed to continued service throughout our community since 1986. We offer a variety of programs, such as our medical equipment loaner program and community patrols by the uniformed and highly-trained Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse members in marked Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicles. We serve our community with outreach events like the Drug Take Back, Community Shred Events, and Red Cross Blood Drives.

Glenn’s experience and drive to give back to others will give our Sun Lakes Posse organization an even broader scope and perspective to continue serving this great community.

If you are looking for an opportunity to give back, like our members do, and have a strong desire to serve others, we are always looking for high-quality individuals like Glenn to join our organization. Visit our website at www.sunlakesposse.org or stop by to pick up an application at our office located at 9531 E. Riggs Road, which is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
