Time involvement: Three sessions

Dates: Saturdays, January 12 and 19 and February 2, noon to 3:00 p.m.

Pre-requisites: None

Materials cost: $10

Location: Cottonwood, Room A-3 (Card Room, next to Library Room)

This beginners’ acting class is intended for those with little or no recent acting experience, as well as those who may not desire to act but want to learn the basics. The areas covered include stage directions, blocking, blocking notation, character analysis, auditions and implementing critiques. Assignments will include a character analysis and a prepared scene, including blocking. Lengthy memorization will not be required. All members of the community are invited. Space is limited.
