SLJC Men’s Club outing to Martin Auto Museum in Phoenix, Arizona

The SLJC Men’s Club is an active social club of the Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation. We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Chapel House for social interaction and stimulating presentations.

One recent outing was to the Martin Auto Museum, a privately-owned, non-profit automobile museum located at 17641 North Black Canyon Highway in Phoenix, Arizona. The museum is dedicated to the preservation of collectible automobiles for educational purposes. The museum was founded by real estate developer Mel Martin to showcase his collection of vintage vehicles and automobile-related memorabilia.

A large group of members visited The Wandering Horse Buffet in the Talking Stick Resort indulging in all the Italian, Asian, Mexican and American cuisine offered. From there, we drove to the Talking Stick Stadium to watch a Diamondbacks game.

For information regarding joining the club, contact Al Bloom at 480-895-8120 or Michael Levitt at 480-813-0550.
