The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation (SLJC) is an established reform congregation that meets at the Sun Lakes Chapel on the second Friday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Services are a great opportunity to meet new people, connect with Judaism and learn. New attendees are invited to be introduced at the service and members of the congregation connect with these attendees. Oneg Shabbats are held immediately after our services at Sun Lakes Country Club. Everyone is invited to attend. The services and Onegs are a great place to meet members, ask questions and learn more about our congregation.
SLJC will be celebrating the High Holidays as follows:
Rosh Hashanah Eve: September 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Rosh Hashanah: September 14 at 10:00 a.m.
Kever Avot: September 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Valley of the Sun Cemetery
Kol Nidre: September 22 at 7:30 p.m.

SLJC dues are $150 person which includes your High Holiday ticket. The Book of Remembrance in which we honor and memorialize our departed family members and friends is under construction. Names must be received by September 8 to be included.
The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation invites everyone to come to our October 9 service at 7:30 p.m. where we will honor our new members. In honor of the holiday of Sukkot, yizkor will be recited.
On October 18 SLJC will have a prospective and new member event at the Chapel House from 2:00-4:00 p.m. New members will receive invitations and will be encouraged to come and meet the Rabbi, Cantor Board Members and the committee chairs of SLJC. In addition, this will be a social meeting, giving new members a chance to meet other new members and connect with each other. A light bite will be served.
