Dan Morson, CPA, is a Sun Lakes resident and has been in tax practice since 1966 (with Ernst & Young), and is a retired tax partner of the worldwide firm Deloitte. Dan is a Lifetime Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Arizona Society of CPAs. He is licensed in Arizona, Connecticut, and New York.
Family Tax Advantage handles all types of tax returns and situations: large and small, simple and complex, personal, estates, trusts, and businesses. We prepare returns of all states. All eligible returns are filed electronically. We offer personalized service in a private environment throughout the year. We are completely up to date on all new tax laws.
We will review your prior years’ tax returns to determine if any tax refunds can be claimed, or prepare unfiled prior years’ returns. There are things in the just-passed 2021 tax law that are retroactive to earlier years.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we conduct all business remotely by telephone, email, Zoom, U.S. Mail, etc. Our office has a secure, dedicated drop-slot for receiving client material. For those unable to leave their homes, we can schedule home visits once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
As a CPA firm, we can be your legal representative in dealings with the IRS and states. As CPAs, we are required to take a minimum of 40 hours of education each year to maintain our skills and remain current on new developments in taxes. We issue periodic newsletters to keep you well informed.
