St. Steven’s Ladies Guild will meet on Nov. 9 in the Church at 12:30 p.m. for a group Rosary followed by a presentation at 1 p.m. by Kathleen Parkhurst.
The presentation is a Spotlight on the Liturgy of the Catholic Church.
The Liturgy is the life of the Catholic Community centered around the Holy Mass. It is the official prescribed set of rituals, prayers and ceremonies used for religious worship. The presenter will include an explanation of the symbolism of the liturgical colors; why and when they are used, the name and the purpose of the liturgical vessels and the prayers used during the first part of the Mass.

Nov. 8 at 10 a.m.—a Mass for our deceased members.
Nov. 21 and 22—Bake sale after the Masses.
Any Catholic woman from our area is invited to join our guild. The guild gives all women the opportunity to grow in our faith and in unison with our parish mission to accomplish this through education, prayer and charity and social activity.
