A good time was had by all when nearly 250 Washingtonians got together at Palo Verde for the third annual Washington Patio Party on March 10. We had a little rain, but that’s not a big deal for Washingtonians. People visited with friends, made new friends and enjoyed the barbeque. We gave away some very nice door prizes from Washington companies, and a few people walked away with a good chunk of change from the raffle. We even had a silent auction for a photograph, generously donated by Gary Dahlgen of the Husky football team and a lot of other people on the field after beating Purdue in the 2001 Rose Bowl. The proceeds from that went to Neighbors Who Care, along with some of the proceeds from the raffle. Next year’s party is on March 9, 2019, once again, at Palo Verde.
