Annual Michigan Dinner
Mark the calendars for the annual Michigan Dinner on March 1, 2019. Ticket sale information will be in the February Splash article and advertising posted around the community and on HOA bulletin boards in February. Time to start planning for the annual party at Cottonwood San Tan Ballroom. Bring a friend and come and enjoy dinner, music (past years had live Michigan talent) and trivia. It’s just a good time to enjoy the company of other Michiganders and friends of Michiganders. If you are interested in being on an event committee, please contact Pearl R. at 480-305-0286. We can always use help with sales and advertising, and there are other committees as well.
Washington State Patio Party
The annual Washington Patio Party is on Saturday, March 9, 2019, on the patio at the Palo Verde Country Club. Be sure and mark your calendars now so you won’t have a conflict! The festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. with a social hour, a cash bar, then a dinner and dessert, followed by a raffle, and we’ll be giving away gifts and gift cards too! More information to come next month.
We had 250 participants last year, and guess what… it actually started raining, and most of us had to move into the clubhouse. A special reminder for us Washingtonians as to why we live here in beautiful Sun Lakes! Isn’t that just unbelievable?!
We hope you can make it! We’re always looking for new Washingtonians who would like to participate, so please let us know so we can add you to the attendees list. Minnesota Patio Party
Minnesotans and friends from Sun Lakes and nearby areas are all invited to the annual Minnesota Patio Party held at the Palo Verde Country Club in Sun Lakes. Cost of $20 per person includes a buffet dinner. Come join the fun and win some raffle prizes. Event will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23. Please contact us by March 17, as we need a headcount for dinners.

Nebraska Dinner/Dance Party
The annual Sun Lakes Nebraska State Dinner/Dance will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, in the Cottonwood Country Club San Tan Ballroom.
The no-host cash bar will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing at 6:30 p.m.
The cost of tickets is $35.00 per person with a choice of prime rib or shrimp scampi, and the deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, February 11, 2019.
Reservation forms for those on our mailing list will be sent out by the end of January. If you are new to the area, have a change of address, have never been on our mailing list or have questions about the event, please contact Sue Weinert Hull at 402-690-1582.
