Well here we are again. When you read this, we will be smack dab in the middle of summer. Spell that monsoon season. All but the bravest of us stay indoors, as much as possible, to do our artwork, housecleaning, crafts, reading, sewing, get together with friends, go to movies etc. to while away the time until we can be outdoors again.

Before the heat set in, I finished an art project of a mural on my fence. Even on the hottest days, I can look out my window and enjoy the desert in all its colorful spring glory. I am sharing it with you today. Some have left us for cooler climates, but until we are all outdoors again, we still get together for art and socializing at the Arts and Crafts room at Sun Lakes Country Club where it’s cool air-conditioning and warm friendships are plentiful.

Please join us. Stop by see what we are all about. We meet in the Arts and Crafts of Sun Lakes Country Club on Wednesdays from around 9:00 a.m.-?

Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month (but not in June, July or August) at 9:30 a.m. for about an hour or so. If you have any questions contact Gary Neffenger at 480-201-5272.
