Started just over a year ago, the Sun Lakes Baggers Club now has over 70 members, two leagues and a total of 19 teams. This winter, there were seven teams playing on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. and 12 teams meeting up on Thursdays at 3:00 p.m., all at the Oasis in Sun Lakes. At the end of league play, there was an exciting playoff between Monday’s and Thursday’s winning teams and an all-club party with great food and awards!
Not only do the Baggers have league play, but the club also hosts various tournaments with cash prizes for the top couple of teams.
The Baggers have another session starting in October with an informational meeting on October 8 at 4:00 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Oasis Pool.
