Sun Lakes Bocce Ball Club at Sisk Park

The first half of the Sisk Park Bocce Club’s season was completed on Jan. 4, and divisional winners were honored at our awards potluck held at Sisk Park on Jan. 11.

Below are the divisional winners of the first session of play:

Division A: Tony and Maria Racano

Division B: Charlan Gerrior and Michael Dalsander

Division C: Bob and Rita Lobello

Division D: Ron and Erin Resop

Division E: Buddy and Theresa Meola

Division F: Andreas and Annette Kern

Division G: Rich and Tina Bruno

Division H: Michael and Carol Ling

Division I: Don and Michelle Solga

Division J: Tom and Sharon Wilp

Division K: Richard and Cathy Munster

Div. New 1: Steve and Fran Cassidy

Div. New 2: Lanny Sackett and Vernon Stellburg

The potluck was a huge success! Members enjoyed fried chicken accompanied by a wide variety of side dishes, salads, and desserts. Teams were able to schedule matches for the second session. The second session of play begins on Jan. 12 and runs through March 22, 2026.

Upcoming events include the Club Tournament, which will be held on Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sisk Park, and the annual Fun with Friends Tournament will be held on Thursday, March 26, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Reminder: Sun Lakes Bocce Ball Club members play at Sisk Park, not to be confused with Sun Lakes Country Club Bocce Ball Club that plays at Oasis Park. Sisk Park is located at 11110 East Drive at the corner of Flame Tree Drive in the Palo Verde community.
