The Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club (SLBLC) was proud to once again fund a scholarship for a Chandler student going on to higher education in the trades.

When the Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club was chartered 11 years ago, they did share a breakfast buffet prior to their meetings. Due to a variety of reasons (mostly country club rules), that fell by the wayside.
This month, prior to our meeting at Cottonwood, President Jack Dreyer took the first steps to bringing back the tradition. It was well received.
At the meeting, immediate past President Gary Aleshire presented Treasurer Kay Glantz with a Distinguished Service Award for her tireless work in keeping the financial records straight in all the various categories.
