The Sun Lakes Card Makers Club is still seeking a few more “card” makers to add to our numbers. We meet every month year-round on the third Wednesday of the month in the Arts & Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Phase 1 at 1 p.m. Each meeting has a teacher with whom you will make about three new and stylish cards. All kinds of “card” makers are invited to check us out and become active members. While we no longer teach newbies the basics of greeting card making, if you already know the basics of rubber stamping, know how to use and make “die cuts,” and love collecting “new” seasonal papers (for card making), we want you as a member.
Our group usually meets for lunch at 11:30 a.m. in the bistro by the library in Sun Lakes Phase 1 before each meeting. You can join us for lunch on any of our meeting days to learn more about our group. We look forward to meeting and getting to know you. As a courtesy and to reserve a spot at lunch, call or text Johnie at 602-510-7995, or just show up on July 19 at 1 p.m. in the Arts & Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Phase 1. You will be glad you did!
