The February meeting of the Sun Lakes card makers group will be held on Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. in the Arts & Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. Interested greeting card makers are invited to attend and consider becoming a member. We meet year–round and make new and interesting cards every month. Each member hosts a month and provides card kits for the other members to assemble and take home. Each month has a different theme, and the primary purpose of our group is to expand our skills and learn new ones. A big thank you goes to Kris Black for sharing her knowledge about using watercolor when making cards. Possible themes this month include New Baby, Graduation, and Mother’s Day.
If we sound like a group you might like to become a part of, drop by during our meeting and check us out. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m., and on most meeting days we gather for lunch at 11:30 a.m. in the Grill in Sun Lakes Phase 1.
