The Sun Lakes Card Makers will be holding meetings all summer. Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month in the Arts & Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Phase 1 at 1 p.m. The group also often meets for lunch at 11:30 a.m. on the same Wednesday in a local restaurant or at the Sun Lakes Phase 1 grill, but lunch is always optional.

One of our members leads each meeting and brings two or three card kits for the other members to make during the meeting. Our group’s focus is on advanced card making techniques, like using Copic markers and die cutting, and each year in the fall we prepare a calendar for the coming year. Our motto is basically “Each One Teach One,” and we love sharing ideas and skills with each other.
