Roger Edmonds

On April 17 Sun Lakes Community Theater (SLCT) presented their annual Theater Arts scholarship to Sara Gwen from Hamilton High School. Each year, SLCT awards a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from the Chandler Unified School District. Sara will major in performing arts at Northern Arizona University. She has been very active for four years in the Hamilton High School drama program. She has won several national awards and has been inducted into the International Thespian Society and will graduate with a Fine Art Seal on her diploma.

SLCT is proud to support the drama programs of the high schools in the Chandler Unified School District. Each year, SLCT donates $625 to each of the six Chandler high school drama programs in addition to this scholarship.

We urge the entire Sun Lakes Community to support the drama programs of the Chandler Unified School District high schools by attending their productions.
