SLJC is an active congregation with members of all ages who come from various communities in the area. Tradition and prayer are woven into our services by Rabbi Irwin Wiener. The lovely voice of our Cantor Ronda Polesky, together with our renowned choir under the direction of Lana Oyer, makes our services beautiful and memorable. Services are held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Friday of the month at the Sun Lakes Chapel off Riggs Road and Sun Lakes Boulevard.

Some of the interesting events to be held over the next month should be of interest to everyone.

SLJC Sisterhood – A special presentation by Marc Israel from Biltmore Loan & Jewelry will present a program similar to the Antiques Roadshow. Thursday, October 18, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel Center. Call Barbara at 480-802-3281.

Adult Education Series led by Rabbi Wiener. First meeting on the subject of “Prayer,” Monday, October 22, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel Center. Call Gail at 480-802-1832.
