Message from the President
Roger Beagle
Happy New Year! We welcome the start of a new year and say goodbye to 2020.
We hope to see the new year bring a return to some normalcy of our desired lifestyle here in Sun Lakes. Before that can happen, we need to continue with some guidelines to keep ourselves and everyone around us safe.
We are seeing a promised vaccine to control the COVID-19 pandemic. It will take some time for the majority of us to receive this vaccine, but we look forward to good results as the year moves forward.
As our community enters the new year, let us look at news and events:
* There is a new reciprocal agreement between IronOaks and Cottonwood Palo Verde. This agreement promotes goodwill between our communities.
* Maricopa County has scheduled upcoming road construction in the Cottonwood area from Jan. 5 through April 5, 2021.
* Our annual Board Election process begins in February and ends with installing our new board members at the annual meeting in March.
As my wife and I drive through our community this holiday season, it is a great pleasure to see homes with spectacular light displays. If your home is one of those with seasonal lights on display, thank you very much for the enjoyment!
Remember, wearing face masks and social distancing remains the best way to keep COVID-19 from spreading in our community in 2021.
My wish for our homeowners is a happier new year and blessings to all!
Happy New Year!
