Message from the President
Roger Beagle
This month, there is continued good news regarding the COVID-19 vaccinations. Soon, we will all have the opportunity to be vaccinated and possibly feel like we are moving forward with some control over this pandemic. We still need to continue with guidelines of wearing masks and social distancing, to keep ourselves and everyone around us as safe as possible.
Management is working with our contractor on the finishing touches to the Palo Verde restrooms. This project was delayed due to a backorder problem with the supplier of the partitions. The decision to wait for the correct partitions to arrive was the best choice. Cheaper partitions would not have been a good decision for our community.
Cottonwood Palo Verde has an election coming up in March, for the board of directors. Candidate applications are available at Homeowner Services during normal business hours. Applications must be completed and turned in to Homeowner Services by 4 p.m., on Feb. 8, with campaigning starting on Feb. 10. This year, there are two director positions available with three-year terms. Information pertaining to the election is available at Homeowner Services and published in The Flyer and In The Know.
Remember, Maricopa County road construction will continue in the Cottonwood area until April 5, 2021. Thank you very much for your patience with this project.
We continue to have, here in our little part of the world, lots of activities to keep us busy with warm sunshine, brisk air in the morning and night, and occasional rain. Please continue to enjoy all of our community amenities: restaurants, bars, golf courses, Fitness Center, lakes, greenbelts, library, bike/walking paths, bocce ball, Sisk Park, tennis, racquetball, and pickleball courts.
Your board of directors is always working for your continued enjoyment of our community.
