Super Sixties Valentine’s Dinner and Dance

Come celebrate Valentine’s Day with us here at Sun Lakes Country Club. This year we are getting groovy with the 1960’s, enjoying a night of delicious food, and dancing to fun music! Dress up in sixties’ attire and dance to the best of the 1960’s with the Six Feet Up Band! Menu includes: Hearts of Romaine Caesar Salad, Three Cheese Fettuccine with Chicken OR Grilled Ribeye with Roasted Potatoes, and Double Chocolate Sourdough Bread Pudding. Cash bar available. Elvis Presley Tribute Show

A tribute to the King of Rock and Roll! Eat, dance and enjoy music from the famous Elvis Presley and a live band! Come prepared to meet Freddy G, performing as Elvis, who likes to mingle with the crowd and make them a part of the show! Listen and dance to 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s Elvis hits! Join us on the North Patio for specialty drinks! Enjoy the misting and fan system when it’s warm, cozy fire pits when it’s cool and our relaxing furniture. We have live entertainment every Friday night! $3.25 well drinks, $2.50 cans of beer, $3.25 glass of wine.
UpTown Art Painting Class and Wine

Join us for an afternoon of painting and wine with your friends! UpTown Art brings painting to you with an all-inclusive class that will allow you to leave with your very own masterpiece. The cost of the event includes all the materials you will need, personalized instruction and a complimentary glass of wine. Follow along as an UpTown Artist leads the entire class through painting the selected event picture.
Not an artist? That’s okay! The instructors are there to make it easy for you to follow along and will help individuals as needed.

Sunday Omelet Station at the Sunset Grill

Join us for full service dinner provided from your very own Association restaurant! Thursday night is our featured prime rib special! House Cut is only $14.95 and our King Cut is $17.95. Every Friday is our traditional all-you-can-eat fish fry for only $11.95! We hope to see you soon!
Team Trivia
Date: Every Monday

Team Trivia is a live hosted trivia game. Play as a solo player or bring your friends to lend a helping mind. Compete against other teams for prizes! Our categories include everything from history, TV, sports, geography, music and just about anything else you can think of. If you want to show your competition just how smart you are, this is your chance!
There is no cost or obligation to play. All materials will be provided free of charge. Just bring yourself and a desire to have some fun! There will be a cash bar available and a chance to win prizes and enter to win the 50/50 raffle.

Happenings at the Sun Lakes Country Club Library

Our library has a large selection of books available for the readers in the Sun Lakes communities to enjoy. With such a variety of books in our collection, you may not have noticed the section called Popular Series.
We currently have the James Patterson Woman’s Murder Club series, 1-14. You will find the Sue Grafton alphabet series “A” Is for Alibi through “W” Is for Wasted. Another popular series is written by best-selling author, Janet Evanovich. There are 23 Stephanie Plum books, starting with One for the Money through her latest, Turbo Twenty-Three. Some fans tell us they have read all 23 books. Beware, Stephanie Plum mysteries could have you laughing out loud.
See a volunteer librarian between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for help in checking out the books in the Popular Series or New Arrivals for up to 14 days. New arrivals books include Foreign Agent by Brad Thor, The Emperor’s Revenge by Clive Cussler, Debt to Pay by Robert B Parker, Rushing Waters by Danielle Steel, and Duty and Honor by Tom Clancy.
