Medical Flash Drive Assistance Event

Medical flash drives and wristlets available for purchase
The Sun Lakes Fire Department and the Community Assistance Program (CAP) are offering medical flash drives. Your personal medical flash drive can speak for you during a crisis, as it connects directly to the emergency paramedic’s computer tablet that they use to talk to the hospital and medical personnel. Each medical flash drive comes preloaded with two forms which will contain your important medical and personal information such as doctors, allergies, medications and emergency contacts.
All you have to do is have it ready and carry your medical flash drive with you!
Medical flash drives can be purchased for $5 at the Sun Lakes Fire Station located at 25020 S. Alma School Road.

Arizona Coyotes vs. Calgary Flames Bus Trip
Date: Thursday, January 15
Time: Bus picks up at 5:00 p.m. outside the SLCC Clubhouse. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
Location: Gila River Arena
Cost: $57 per person
The Arizona Coyotes take on the Calgary Flames at Gila River Arena and we want you to come to the game with us! The purchase of a ticket includes a seat in either section 216 or 230 and a bus ride to and from the stadium. Unfortunately, we are unable to take requests for specific sections. Game tickets will be handed out on game day.
Please be aware that there will be stairs to climb in order to get to the seats. If you have any question call 480-895-9270, ext. 128. Tickets are available at the SLCC Administrative Services desk.
So You Want To Be A Writer?

Come join local author Diana Creel Elarde speaking on her journey from fledging prose to published author. Experience excerpts of her inspirational stories of love, life and a few miracles. Diana is a two-time Chicken Soup for the Soul contributing author, featured writer for Thrive Detroit, guest writer for Ground Cover and author of the book A Star in My Hand. In addition to writing she is a psychology professor with Mesa and Chandler-Gilbert Community Colleges.

UpTown Art Painting Class and Happy Hour

Location: Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club
Cost: $23 per person
Join us for an afternoon of painting and drinks with your friends! UpTown Art brings painting to you with an all-inclusive class that will allow you to leave with your very own masterpiece. The cost of the event includes all the materials you will need, personalized instruction and a complimentary glass of wine. Follow along as an UpTown Artist leads the entire class through painting the selected event picture.
Not an artist? That’s okay! The instructors are there to make it easy for you to follow along and will help individuals as needed.
A cash bar will be available for additional alcoholic beverages. Bring your best friend and buy a bottle of wine to share, or purchase drinks by the glass.

Team Trivia is a live hosted trivia game. Play as a solo player or bring your friends to lend a helping hand or mind. Compete against other teams for prizes! Our categories include everything from history, TV, sports, geography, music and just about anything else you can think of. So if you want to show your competition how smart you are this is your chance! And maybe, just maybe, you’ll win a prize for playing.
There is no cost or obligation to play. All materials will be provided free of charge. Just bring yourself and a desire to have some fun! There will be a cash bar available and a chance to win prizes and enter to win the 50/50 raffle!
