Help Save a Life and Give Blood
June 9 from 8:00 a.m.-noon; Blood bus in front of the SLCC Clubhouse.
Sign up to give blood and help save a life. The blood bus visits Sun Lakes every three months which gives us the opportunity to give back to those who need it most.
Members who have questions about various medications and if it would affect their eligibility to give should call the number below to verify. Many times, United Blood Services is able to take donations.
Participants who choose to donate will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a car; details to come in the next few weeks.

Celebrate the Fourth on the Third
This year, our annual Fourth of July party will be held on Thursday, July 3 in the Arizona Room. Time is to be determined. Check out our website at www.sunlakescountryclub.com, the Sun Laker, SLCC Weekly Update and our clubhouse postings for more details as they become available. Route 66 will be performing as we celebrate our Independence Day.
Happy Father’s Day
Come to the Sunset Grill on Sunday, June 15 and celebrate Father’s Day with us. Special menu additions will be available and a special treat for dad will be given to all our fathers. The Sunset Grill is open from 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Diamondbacks Bus Trip to Chase Field
It’s that time of year again. Dust off your catcher’s mitt and get ready for some baseball. The next trip of the season will be on Thursday, June 19 for the Diamondbacks vs. Brewers game. Bus picks up outside the SLCC Clubhouse at 11:30 a.m., game time is 12:40 p.m. Tickets are $40 each. Tickets include round-trip bus ride and a ticket to the game in the All You Can Eat Section which includes free and unlimited hot dogs, chips, popcorn and soda. Handicap seating is available with advance notice. Please note that Chase Field is a large stadium and some walking is required. Wheelchairs can be made available with advance notice. Questions? Friday Night Fish Fry
Come enjoy our famous Friday night fish fry dinners at the Sunset Grill in the Arizona Room; cocktail hour is at 4:30 p.m., dinner served at 5:00 p.m. Advance tickets are not required for this event. The cost is $10.95 per person and includes hand-dipped fried cod, fresh French fries or baked potato and a salad bar. However, the salad bar may be purchased a la’ carte for $6.95.

Team Trivia is a live hosted trivia game. Play as a solo player or bring your friends to lend a helping hand or mind. Compete against other teams for prizes. Our categories include everything from history, TV, sports, geography, music and just about anything else you can think of. So if you want to show your competition how smart you are this is your chance; and maybe, just maybe, you’ll win a prize for playing.
There is no cost or obligation to play. All materials will be provided free of charge. Just bring yourself and a desire to have some fun. There will be a cash bar available and a chance to win prizes and enter to win the 50/50 raffle.
