The Drum Circle met at the Veteran’s Oasis Park on April 25. The rabbits came out to enjoy the drumming. One came out, then two and so on. We had a great audience.
We had some intentions for Mother Earth, the Arizona teachers and students and our own prayers and intentions were created and sent out. Our gathering is very informal. Anyone can come and go as they please. We have many different types of instruments to play… drums, rattles, bells, flutes, and the list goes on. There are smiles and conversations between new friends.
The Drum Circle meets on the Wednesday closest to the full moon each month. We will have the June gathering on June 27 at the Sun Lakes Country Club Friendship Room at 6:30 p.m. to around 8:00 p.m.
There will be a summer break the months of July and August. I suggest that if any of our members want to drum on their own at any time, that they gather with their new friends and have fun.

Have a wonderful summer, and there will be more in September for our fall lineup.
