The next meeting of the Sun Lakes Garden Club (SLGC) will be held at the Chapel Center, 9240 N. Sun Lakes Blvd., across from the Sun Lakes Country Club on Monday, October 6 at 9:30 a.m. The program will be “House Plants” presented by Kelly Depetro, Master Gardener and member of the Central Arizona Cactus and Succulent Society. She will be speaking about which house plants grow best in the southwest.

On September 1 several members held a roundtable discussion on what works and what does not work in their garden. They told of their successes and failures and gave tips they have learned about growing specific plants.

The Sun Lakes Garden Club meets on the first Monday of each month at the Sun Lakes Chapel Center. Anyone interested in how and what to grow in this area is invited to attend as a guest.
