Beginning in January the Sun Lakes Garden Club will meet on the third Tuesday of the month. The January meeting will be on January 20. The next meeting of the Sun Lakes Garden Club (SLGC) will be held at the Chapel Center, 9240 N. Sun Lakes Blvd. across from the Sun Lakes Country Club on Monday, December 1 at 9:30 am. This will be the annual Holiday Brunch. Members are asked to bring a dish of their choice.

The November 3 program was “Composting and Soil Preparation” presented by Olivette Aviso, a Master Gardner with Maricopa County. She told what composting is, the Do’s and Don’ts, concerns and resources. For more information go to www.cals.arizona.edu.

On November 8 several members visited Ken Singh’s Organic Farm.
