Sun Lakes Instrumental Ensemble Plays for Luminaries

Gene Cline

As visitors walk around the Diamond Lake Luminaries on Dec. 13 and 14, they may hear holiday songs played by the Sun Lakes Instrumental Ensemble, along with other musical groups. Holiday music has been a part of rehearsals for the Sun Lakes Instrumental Ensemble as they prepare for several share times in the community.

Those who attend the Perfect Place (now named Oakwood Creative Care) will listen to holiday music from the Sun Lakes Instrumental Ensemble at their new location, 2175 N. Alma School Road, Chandler. The Ensemble will provide a program of holiday music on Dec. 15 and 18 for the two different groups who attend.

The residents of Clarendale of Chandler, 5900 S. Gilbert Road (Riggs and Gilbert Roads), will be entertained by the Sun Lakes Instrumental Ensemble with holiday music on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025.

Director Gene Cline and the Sun Lakes Instrumental Ensemble thank the Greater Sun Lakes Community Foundation for the recent grant that gives the group funds to purchase music, special music stands, and other items needed by the ensemble.
