The Sun Lakes Italian–American Club (SLIAC) will be having our first dinner meeting of the 2026-27 year on Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Oakwood Ballroom, next to Stone and Barrel Restaurant. Doors open at 4:45 p.m., Dinner at 6 p.m.The speaker will be from The Olive Mill in Queen Creek.
If you are thinking about joining the club, feel free to come to the dinner meeting and check us out. When you join the club, there is a $20 annual membership fee that covers you from October thru May. We meet monthly to “preserve, honor and promote Italian heritage, customs, and traditions”. If you are a member and on our monthly mailing list, you will receive an email with RSVP info.

* November: USA 250th Birthday Celebration, honoring veterans, submit photos
* December: Christmas Party and Super Raffle, Opera singers/Christmas songs
* January: Spaghetti Western Night. Videos, Western Dress-up, Line Dancing
* February: Italian DooWop Singers. With DJ. Music/dancing
* March: Sisk Park potluck lunch and Bocceball tournament
* April: Life in ancient Rome. toga/gladiator dress-up, videos
* May: Campania (Naples) Night. Submit photos, panel discussion
