Esther Spear
The next meeting of the Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation Sisterhood will take place on Thursday, May 15, at 1 p.m. at the Chapel House. New officers of the board of directors will be inducted. The speaker will be Esther Spear. Her topic is “Jewish Genealogy—The Origin of Jewish Surnames.” She will discuss how and why surnames originated and what they tell us about our ancestors.
