The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation Sisterhood has planned a very interesting discussion of the book Scattered Among the Nations by Bryan Schwartz. The photographs and stories show the world’s most isolated Jewish communities in Latin America, Asia, Africa, the former Soviet Union and marginal areas of Europe. Starting over 2,000 years ago, seven Jewish couples were stranded in a shipwreck off the coast of India. This book is the story of the Diaspora and the lost tribes of Israel. The discussion will be led by Rabbi Irwin Wiener who will connect their stories with the story of Passover. Be sure not to miss this fascinating meeting on March 16 in the Chapel Center at 1:00 p.m.
