The next meeting of the Sun Lake Jewish Congregation Sisterhood will take place on Thursday, Nov. 20, in the Chapel House at 1 p.m. The speaker will be Jody Crago, the director of the Chandler Museum. The presentation will be about Dorothea Lange, the photojournalist known for her iconic images taken during the Great Depression. She visited Chandler three times during the 1930s and 1940s, and we will see the photographs that she captured through her camera lens.
On Thursday, Dec. 18, the Sisterhood will have a Paid-up Membership Luncheon with a Hanukkah Flair at the Chapel House. We will have a delicious catered lunch and will play Crazy Bingo.
Our annual fundraiser for local charities, Games Galore (previously known as Card Party), will take place on Feb. 23, 2026, at the Oakwood clubhouse. More information about our fabulous gift baskets, cash raffle, delicious lunch, and home-baked goods at our bake sale will be forthcoming soon.
