A fashion show from one of the top thrift shops in the East Valley will be presented to the residents of Sun Lakes at 10:30 a.m. on January 3 at the Sun Lakes Ladies Coffee Hour. Members of Assistance League of East Valley will model clothing and jewelry from the shop at the Cottonwood Country Club ballroom.
The monthly gathering is open to all Sun Lakes residents and their friends. Participants can enjoy refreshments and a raffle while they visit with friends and meet new people.
Narrating the fashion show will be 95-year-old Lois Katzin, a former model who volunteers at the thrift shop cash register each Tuesday morning. Assistance League members also will give a presentation about their group.
Named one of the best resale shops in Chandler, the Assistance League of East Valley thrift shop is located at 2326 N. Alma School Road in Chandler, north of Warner Road.
