The 2024-25 league season is fast coming to a close for the Sun Lakes Lady Niners, as league play will be over at the end of April and will resume in November. It has been an exciting season of hosting a tournament with the SunBird Lady Niners and participating in tournaments at Apache Wells, Oakwood, and Cottonwood. Sun Lakes Lady Niners love playing golf, and the ladies enjoy taking to the links every week. The Lady Niners golf at Sun Lakes Country Club on Tuesday mornings, usually at 9 a.m., but tee-off times change to 10 a.m. during the colder months of December and January.
The Sun Lakes Lady Niners is a fun group of ladies of all ages and golfing abilities, from beginners to more advanced levels of play. A different game is played each week based on handicap to provide everyone a chance to win.
The Sun Lakes Lady Niners had a pizza party following golf on April 22 to celebrate a successful season. The last league meeting of the year was also held on April 22. Happy summer to all!
