Golf is like the game of life. It will show you who you are. If you take your troubles badly, you will never play to par. You may be a fine performer when the skies are bright and blue, but disaster is the acid that shall prove the worth of you. So just meet your disappointment with a cheery sort of grin, for the golfer who keeps her temper is the golfer that’s sure to win.

The Sun Lakes Lady Niners’ annual Christmas party was held on Saturday, Dec. 7, and a good time was had by all. Attendance was low, as several people had not yet returned from the Thanksgiving holiday. The event included a tasty dinner catered by the Sunset Grill, a split-the-pot raffle, and several raffle items, including the table centerpieces. Of course, the open bar helped raise everyone’s spirits. The weather was nice when they went in and raining when they came out.
The Sun Lakes Lady Niners are always looking for new members. They are very supportive and welcoming to new members. Please consider coming out and hitting a ball and having a ball with them.
