Last Thursday, we held our monthly meeting. We recognized our new president, Floyd Mullen, for over 40 years of service. Outgoing President Larry Palmer presented the award.
Also, Lion Ray Born was presented an award for his outstanding White Cane service. This week, we will evaluate peace posters submitted by the Chandler Unified School District and then forward our local winner for possible inclusion at the Lions International Peace Poster Awards in New York City. Last year, we had an Arizona State winner.
