Twelve Phase 1 residents volunteered at Feed My Starving Children on Aug. 22. This non-profit organization provides nutritional meals to malnourished children all across the world. The 12 volunteers helped pack 800 bags, which will feed 50 children for a year. The meals will be distributed in schools, orphanages, clinics, and feeding programs around the world to deliver hope and break the cycle of poverty. The volunteers hand-packed rice, soy, dried vegetables, and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags, which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets, and shipped around the world.
