A great time was had by all at the Sun Lakes Pitch and Putt Course on March 15. Winning first place with a score of 22 was Unni Foster, Lorie DeNapoli, Janice Cosgrove and Rosemary King. Second place with a score of 23 was Judi Smith, Sheryl Mariotti, Judie Ringdahl and Rose Gallagher. Judi Smith hit our famous tree.

Our final playday was held on March 22. First place with a score of 22 was Joann Brown, Jane Parker, Jan Cobb and Arlene Fletcher.

A tie for second place with a score of 23 were these teams:

1. Gail Colberg, Sherry Digel, Jan Lemon and Anna Gay Pahlow

2. Sharon Swinson, Leslie Hegemeister, Phyllis Schager and Linda Welchlin.

We had several “special” holes that day. Longest Putt on #9 was made by Carolyn Fore. Closest to the Pin on #2 was Anna Gay Pahlow.

Other holes called upon us to putt with the opposite hand, toss the ball to the green, put the ball in the cup with a neck pillow around the hole, lay the flag alongside of the hole and putt between our legs. Lots of laughing and cheering could be heard all over the course.

Our final game was followed up by a delicious brunch catered by the Sunset Grill.

We will resume play on the first Thursday of 2019.
