The Sun Lakes Tennis Club is back in full swing with lots going on. We started play in December with a Welcome Back intra club tournament on December 9 where everyone had a good time back in the sun playing tennis. Bob Dunn and Mary Jane Robinson came in first, and Mike Robinson and his partner were second. Grand prizes were distributed.

That evening, we had our Christmas party with everyone dressed up so well you could not recognize them – amazing the difference from a tennis hat and outfit. A prime rib dinner with all the extras was enjoyed by all. Prize drawings with lots of good things, including wine, were given to members with the lucky ticket.

Any Sun Lakes resident is welcome to join our tennis club. We have a meeting and dinner the second Monday of each month at the clubhouse at 6:00 p.m. The club plays tennis each week, with the men on Mondays, women on Wednesdays and mixed on Thursdays. To join us, the information is on the bulletin board at the tennis courts. Have fun!
