Our gracious ladies of the Sun Lakes Women’s Association are at it again. The are keeping busy with the upcoming golf tournament and a mini bazaar not far behind. The date for the golf tournament is March 6 at Palo Verde Country Club. Get your team together, play and have fun. Contact Diane 602-570-6620. You have a few days left to sharpen your clubs and get out in the sunshine.

NOTE: The date for the March Market (Mini Bazaar) is March 18 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and on March 19 from 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The location is the Sun Lakes Country Club south parking lot. It was decided by the Women’s club to have a mini bazaar in mid-year because of the many donations given by the caring and thoughtful folks who are willing to part with their treasures. On these dates the items for sale will be kitchen tables and chairs, living and dining room furniture, sofa and chairs, lamps, art work, vintage and antiques; vintage items from different eras-all in excellent condition. As everyone knows who attended our huge November 2015 bazaar, there were countless items for sale. Too many to mention. Lots to choose from if you are moving into a new home, redecorating or just need a change for something new. These items go quickly and are priced right. Stop by early and peruse our mini bazaar. This mini bazaar has it all.

The Sun Lakes Women’s Association is always looking for help and would be thrilled if anyone could come forward and lend a helping hand. Men are always invited to help the ladies to get the bazaar and other activities off the ground,

The money accrued from the sale items from the bazaars are donated to a good cause. The Sun Lakes community, the Sun Lakes Fire Department, Neighbors Who Care, Sheriff’s Posse and handicapped accessibility equipment for those who require assistance.

Anyone one can help the Sun Lakes Women’s Association by donating used or new items in good condition. Furniture and household items are welcome. Also, the women could use some strong men with a pickup truck to help with the heavier items. If you would like to donate your time and have items you would like for pick up please call 480-895-9270, ext. 220 and leave a message.

The Sun Lakes Women’s Association always welcomes new members anytime who bring new ideas, new crafts and a new face.
