Dianne Winenger
Wally Jasien shared aspects of the creative process to carve one of the Hopi style Kachinas he displayed, along with other artists, during the annual Art on the Lakes event. The woodcarvers exhibited a variety of bark spirit figures, carved birds, bison and a demo of the process to carve an old wooden shoe. Would you like to carve one? We will provide the wood cutout and guide you along the way as you create your own carved treasure. There is no charge.
We meet every Thursday in Cottonwood Ceramics Room at 9:00 a.m. Contact Margaret Ryan at 480-802-6535 or Wally Jasien at 895-8281 to ask questions. See you Thursday!
