Come see some wild birds on a bird walk with Desert Rivers Audubon at the Gilbert Water Ranch on Saturday, Feb. 15.
The GWR is in Gilbert on Greenfield and Guadalupe. The walk takes place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. This is a free event, and we have binoculars for you and an experienced leader to show you the wild birds. There are birds from Canada and Alaska making their way to South America that stop at the water ranch.
Also on Feb. 1, there are free bird walks starting at 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Veterans Oasis Park in Chandler, Chandler Heights and Lindsay.
The Audubon Speaker event is Feb. 11, and it starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Gilbert Library.
The free bird walks take place on the first Saturday of the month at Chandler’s Veterans Oasis Park and the third Saturday of the month at Gilbert Water Park. Walk on the wild side!
