Announcing the Greater Sun Lakes Community Foundation’s Annual Gala Event—All that Glitters—an elegant formal dinner/dance to be held on Sunday, Dec. 6, at the San Tan Ballroom in the Cottonwood Country Club, planned by Jan Hawkes and her Foundation Friends. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with a cash bar, dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and then starting at 7:30 p.m., there will be live music and dancing by the Thaddeus Rose Band. This formal Gala is our classiest fundraising event each year, and as in the past, we will be featuring a fabulous array of donated raffle baskets and unique “silent auction” items, along with our “Crystal Bowl” for cash and check donations. All our contributors and workers are volunteers, so all proceeds will go to support our mission which is “to enhance the quality of life for residents in the Greater Sun Lakes area in the areas of health, education, and culture.”
Here is your chance to dress up and be elegant for an evening of friendship and fun, knowing that you are supporting a fundraiser that financially supports many local clubs and charities here in Sun Lakes. Hope to see you there!
