Reverend Jennifer Lambert
“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth” (Psalm 96:1).
Music is a vessel that carries us into the presence of God, filling our hearts and souls with grace beyond measure. In this season of Lent and Easter, we are invited to recognize the abundant love of God—a love that is full to the brim and overflowing into our lives. Through the power of music, we find ourselves drawn deeper into worship, reflection, and celebration.
At Sun Lakes United Methodist Church (9248 E. Riggs Road), we are thrilled to welcome our new music director Marlynn Rey. With her extensive background in sacred music, choral leadership, and worship planning, Marlynn brings fresh energy and a heart for guiding our congregation in meaningful musical worship. As we sing, listen, and experience music together, we are reminded that God’s love is not scarce, but abundant, overflowing, and ever-present.
As we prepare for Holy Week, we invite you to journey with us in worship through both solemn reflection and joyful celebration:
• Good Friday Service: April 18 at 4 p.m.
A moving service of reflection on the depth of Christ’s love and sacrifice, accompanied by music that leads us into the mystery of the cross.
• Easter Sunday Celebration: April 20 at 9 a.m.
A service of resurrection hope, featuring powerful music, uplifting worship, and the message that Christ’s love is full to the brim—overflowing for all.
Music has the unique ability to fill us, renew us, and remind us of the boundless grace of God. Whether you have sung in choirs all your life or simply love the sound of hymns and sacred melodies, we invite you to be part of this season of worship and let God’s abundant love pour over you.
Join us as we sing, worship, and celebrate together—our cups running over with joy, hope, and the fullness of God’s grace.
