Sun Lakes firefighters from the Department’s Station Two proudly pose with their new fire engine red BBQ grill. The grill was able to be purchased at half price due to the generosity and appreciation for their lifesaving work by Mike West, the owner of BBQ Island on Emerald Drive in Tempe. Firefighters and medical crews eat many of their meals at the firehouse and the new grill will help with that. The SLFD crews thanked Mike for thinking of them. (Photo and caption by Brian Curry)
